About Our Mobile Grooming Service

We groom one pet at a time in a self-contained van that parks outside your home. It carries its own water, heats that water on board, and runs on its own power, so nothing needs to come out of your house and no outdoor tap has to be turned on in February.

Why One Pet at a Time Matters

A busy salon runs several dogs at once. That means crate time before and after the groom, cage dryers, and a room full of noise. None of that is cruelty, it is just how the economics of a salon work. But for an anxious dog, a senior dog, or a cat, the waiting and the noise are usually harder than the grooming.

In the van there is no crate and no cage dryer. Your pet is handled continuously from start to finish and goes straight back inside when we are done. A full dog groom typically runs 90 minutes to two and a half hours depending on coat and size. Cats are usually quicker.

What We Will Not Do

• Shave a double-coated dog to cool it down

  Huskies, shepherds, retrievers and bernese rely on that coat for insulation in both directions, and shaving it damages the regrowth, often permanently. If your double-coated dog is struggling in summer, the answer is a proper de-shedding treatment, not clippers.

• Brush out a pelted coat because you asked us to

  Once mats reach the skin, working them out hurts, and the humane answer is to clip short and start again. We will tell you that honestly before we begin rather than after.

• Sedate, or act like a vet

  We are groomers rather than veterinarians. If we find broken skin, a lump, an ear infection or a tick, we will show you and tell you to see your vet.

Where We Work

We run scheduled route days in Grimsby, Hamilton, Guelph, Barrie, Oshawa, Niagara Falls and the surrounding towns. Grouping appointments by city is what keeps travel time out of the price, so each city has set days rather than availability every day of the week.
